Must HAVE!

T Is this not the most BEAUTIFUL quilt you have ever seen? I think I am going to buy the book. Its by Joelle Hoverson. I have never made a quilt before. It looks pretty intimidating. I'm hoping that the book will have a pretty good step by step guide. I love that there is so much potential for creativity. So many different colors and patterns. YAY!!!!!! I think it would look nice with our name stitched in the middle. Let me know if you have made anything like this and if there is any advice before I begin.
***Aww I can't stop stareing at it......its so LOVELY!!!***

That is a beautiful quilt...maybe you should make a few smaller things first...so you can learn to use your sewing machine and all. Just a thought. Otherwise, I think it'll be beautiful, and adding your name to the middle will be so cute!

Stop! I know you'll make beautiful things...I didn't want you to get overwhelmed by starting such a bring project like that with absolutely no foundation for it. You know I have tons of faith in you Linds! After your first few maybe I'll have you make one for me...I'd even pay ya in cash!

It's so pretty. If you get the book, I'd like to borrow it sometime so I can make one too.

I can't wait to see it. Maybe I'll just have to buy me one too.

I have this book; and I LOVE it!

As far as projects, this book is for beginners, and the novice. The projects are broken down by time and to make the project. The first few projects you could make less than an hour; coasters, bird ornaments (which I made for my xmas tree this year) to the quilt, and it gives a slight history on each project.

However, the sewing instructions could be a little more detailed, and can be a bit intimadating, but you'll have a few projects to get you started.

So, if you don't get to the quilt, you will still have amazing little gifts you can make.

Good luck on the project!

Oooooh, that's not good. I'm really sorry...maybe you should take a couple of days off. Let things....mellow. On a side note, I went to Ross and got not one but 2 sports bras for less than Old Navy wanted. They actually have a lot of workout stuff there, we should go sometime!

That's probably not a bad idea. Plus, if we're going 3 days a week, you def can't wear the same pair everytime. They had tons of pants at Ross, and they were all around $10 or $12. I still need to find some tops.

That sounds like a fantasic plan. BTW...your capri pants aren't that bad. Just shave at some point during the week, it'll make you feel better about things.
